STEEL STRIPS WITH CHAMFERED EDGES

 

ISSUES OF STANDARD This standard relates to hot rolled strips with dropped edges, produced of different types of steel, in accordance with EN 10025 standard.

SHAPE
The strip's cross-section is of rectangular shape with dropped edges.

DIMENSIONS
These strips are usually produced in thickness and width specified in table below and in 3m of length.
The permitted width deviation limits are also specified in this table. Strips can be delivered in specially agreed lengths too. In that case, the permitted length deviations are at most +20 mm.

WEIGHT
The weights specified in the following table are calculated bases on specific weight of steel 7,85 daN/dm3.

DELIVERY STATE
Delivered in lengths of at most 3 meters and packed into bunches of cca 50-100 kg.

LABELING
In technical and other documentation and in orderings, the strips subjected to this standard are labeled as steel strip b*d*l where b,d, and l indicate width, thickness and length in mm, while type of steel is in accordance with EN 10111, EN 10025 standards.
